Welcome to the Broomstix FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions).

On this page we have the basic questions we are asked on a daily basis, and their answers. This is to save you, the client, a lot of guesswork when requesting a quote or enquiring further about our services and availability.

Some frequently asked questions:

Are your workers supervised?
Answer: Yes, in the sense that we check before they start working that they know exactly what they are expected to do, and when they are collected we check again that everything was done satisfactorily, especially when the client is not present to give us the assurance that everything has been done to her/his satisfaction. We also check that everything is locked up and alarms set.

Are your workers honest?
Answer: Yes. Most of our workers have been with us for several years and have proven themselves to be thoroughly trustworthy. But they, like everybody else, remain human, so we do ask our clients not to leave unnecessary temptations in their way by making sure that money and small valuable articles are safely locked away for the 2½ hours that we are in your house. The workers are also not allowed to take anything other than their lunch boxes into your house.

What do I do should I suspect that something has been stolen from my house?
Answer: Report the matter to the person in charge of the relevant team as soon as possible, preferably the same day before the workers have gone home. We try our best to investigate the matter thoroughly and take the necessary steps to make sure that such an incident does not recur.

Am I supposed to become involved in your workers’ personal problems?
Answer: Definitely not. The workers are not supposed to discuss any personal or medical problems with you and if they should, you are requested to report it immediately to the person in charge of the relevant team.
